Step 2: Continue with importing in a school with linking on

Choose the Import your Google class to Realize option and click Next.

Select one or more Savvas programs that you will use with your class and when you are done click Review.

Review that you have the correct school and program(s) selected. If you need to change any information simply click Change. 

Before you complete the import, make sure you check the box to confirm you read the message. Then click on Import Google Classroom Class to import the class into Savvas Realize.

You are now back on the page that lists your Google Classroom classes. You will see the class you just imported is marked as Connected. If you want to import an additional class, simply select another Google Classroom class.

 If you are done and do not need to import any more Google Classroom classes, click Go Back to Classes.

When you navigate back to the Classes tab in Savvas Realize, you will see the Google Classroom icon indicating the class is connected to Google Classroom. 

How the student roster is populated and kept in sync with Google Classroom

Students must connect their Google Classroom account to their Savvas account and grant Savvas access to Google Classroom in order for them to show in the class roster. If you don't see all of your students in the Students & Groups page of your Savvas Realize class, see: Step 3: Students launch in Realize to link their user account.

If none of your students have linked their Google account to their Savvas account you will get the following message:

As your students launch Realize from Google for the first time and link their Google account to their Savvas account, Savvas Realize will add them to your class. You will see them marked as Connected.
