Step 5: Student complete Savvas assignments
In this tutorial we show you how your students can access their Savvas Realize assignments from Google Classroom.
Students can click on the Savvas Realize assignment and then click on the Savvas Realize link or...
...they can go to the instructions for the assignment and click on Savvas Realize link.
The student will be brought to the assignment in Savvas Realize where they can complete the items in the assignment.
Once a student is done with the assignment, they can click Turn In.
When the student navigates to Google Classroom, the student will see the assignment is now marked as Turned in. If it is a graded assignment, the grade is listed
Things to know
Un-submitting an assignment in Google Classroom does NOT un-submit the assignment in Savvas Realize. Currently there is no un-submit feature in Savvas Realize.
Both Google Classroom and Savvas Realize allow students to submit past due assignments. In Savvas Realize they are marked as “past due.”
Some Savvas Realize assignments will automatically generate additional remediation assignments in Savvas Realize. The remediation assignments do not appear in Google Classroom.
